Abstract: Steph and Andy outline how the YEAR (York Experimental Archaeological Research) Centre is used to integrate outdoor spaces into learning and teaching activities. They describe how this helps to create inclusive learning communities and scaffold theoretical approaches using practical hands-on experiences.
