Professor Richard Waites, Director for Students in the Department of Biology, delivered an interesting and insightful workshop outlining how students and staff have worked together during the Covid-19 pandemic. Richard shared his approach to student engagement in Biology: engaging and communicating with students at every opportunity, supporting staff and allowing both the opportunity to give feedback on a regular basis. Participants were invited to share ideas and there was an extensive Q&A session at the end of the workshop.
