This session will consider definitions of creativity, Sir Ken Robinson’s work on the value of creativity in and beyond education (he is the author of the All Our Futures (2000) report and his monograph Out of Our Minds was substantially revised for a second edition in 2011).
It will explore the applicability of existing definitions and literature on creativity for learning and teaching in Higher Education and share some of the work already taking place to address agendas for creativity in Higher Education universally and in the Department of Education specifically.
