Workshop run on 27/11/20 from 12:30-2pm
Dr Julia Sarju and Dr Leonie Jones from the Department of Chemistry provide an overview of inclusive practice using a diverse range of case studies and examples from their Department. This session was intended to directly encourage conversations about inclusivity (and by extension, exclusivity) when it comes to practical learning, teaching, and assessment. A strong emphasis was placed on active collaboration between departments and teams, alongside the sharing of good practice among attendees at this session. Overall, this workshop captures a relevant selection of factors relating to inclusivity that culminated in a stimulating and coherent set of guiding principles that can be used to shape good practice.
